I think now is really the appropriate time to create a new category (in advance) for all my upcoming “MacBook” related entries. But here’s the dilemma, what will the new category be name? Here’s some of the category name that I had in mind:
- Apple
- Mac
- Mac OSX
- Cult of Mac
If you got any other recommendation, do let me know. I’m giving free link for the best suggestion. But first you have to convince me why I should choose and use that category name.
1. an Apple a day gets me a Mac.
2. AppleMach
3. Newton Apple
4. iApple
5. Tis Da Mac Yo!
6. I’m a Mac-hie
7. Mac freak
8. This is my apple you b*tch! *slap*
9. My Apple
10. Dei this is my Apple la
11. Leopard eats an Apple
12. Tigger eats an Apple too.
ooh. didn’t read the last line after writing that much..
I’ll go for AppleMach, because there’s Apple, Mac and Mach warrior! Maybe not your taste, but just for the fun of it. It sounds cool also. :)
Or if you admit to being a Mac pro, then you’re a Mac-hie! ;)
Mac-y (Macy?) != Machie
CincauHangus, your suggestion might be suitable for an entry title but not category title.
I’d suggest a few.
1. Get a Mac
(Duh! But perhaps it could be ‘Grab a Mac’?)
2. The pelt of a Macbook
(Pelt means the hair or fur of an animal plus the skin; references to Leopard too.)
3. Expedition Notes
(This leans more towards the exploration aspects of your Macbook Pro journey; perhaps a start to more ‘hunting/hunted’ inspired posts)
4. Macbook
(Probably the most obvious but most importantly it’s short, clear and concise)
mine would be MacGeek LOL

But seriously, Cult of Mac gets my vote.
Have 2 categories then: Mac and Apple
use Mac when the post is more of ur upcoming “MacBook”
use Apple when the post is more of the company and its products
and use “Zeo Has a Mac” if u love the feeling of owning one.

“The Macquisition of Zeo?”
“MacQuisition”
“MacQuire!”
“Macvertlets”
It gets better:
“The Mac of Zeo-rro”

Depending on how often you blog, I suggest:
1 category - Apple: general category covering news of the company, Macs and iPods
2 categories - Apple & Mac: covers Apple & iPod news, and the second covers tips, applications, etc specific to your MacBook
3 categories - Apple, Mac & iPod: as specific as you can get
You guys are like suggesting a brand name instead of category. Keep em coming.
if its for category name, it think u should keep it simple, mac or apple would be good but since u gonna own a macbook, for sure u gonna blog about “mac” but in the mean time u also want to blog about other “apple”. then i would suggest “applemac” or apple&mac. 2 in 1 huhu!
