And yet, my college once again change our email. but this time not the mail software but the username and the add.
well we use to have normal id, like namelast4digit@unitar.edu.my but now…

for those tat like to hijack some student email address can do so. Obviously some student already balik kampung and didn’t change their default password.

For students, please take note that from that point on, your previous e-mails (at http://mail.unitar.edu.my) will expire on the 8th November 2004. The new e-mail address will use the matric id with e-mail domain mail.unitar.edu.my.

For example, if your current matric id is ub1234567 or ub1-0001-12345 then, your login id will be ub1234567 or ub1-0001-12345 (all lower case) . Your e-mail address then will be ub1234567@mail.unitar.edu.my or ub1-0001-12345@mail.unitar.edu.my and your password will be changed to default as “unitar”. Change your password when you login for the first time.

Well this is wat the id means, by looking at example, ub1 is a study centre code for Kelana Jaya(different centre different code, go figure), 0001 means student batch year 2001, but they all so gay so currently real batch year id is 0101,0105,0107,9908,9907,0001 bla bla go figure, and the last digit 12345 obviously starts with 0 example 01234, go figure.
