I’ve been thinking about this for months now which involves WordPress user in Malaysia. I wonder whether it’s possible to organize a WordPress Meetup in Kuala Lumpur, MY. No specific date yet, but it’s worth a shot. Any thought?

Honestly, I’m intrigued by the meetup suggestion. Then again, I’m only going back to Malaysia in December. Probably having it strictly Wordpress-related is a bit too much. I’d think of this meetup as a more informal one esp. being the first one.

maybe you could have the Wordpress meetup as part of the Malaysian Open Source Group meetings, you could use it as a stepping stone to launch the Wordpress group?
We haven’t had any meeting this month though we are planning to have one. you could get in touch with the organiser Aizat (www.aizatto.com) and also check out http://www.foss.org.my for more information.
btw, I’m a wordpress user too . I have one version on the .com site and one hosted on my own acct
Well, if someone would like to manage an event for this, I’d like to advice that the meetup should be held some place where people don’t feel hesitate to be… Starbuck is not a good place…
Based on my experience, people love to gather in a place like that.
