It’s quite a rough and hard time for Mako to get use of being bullied by Ichi especially during feeding. I’ve decided to put Mako in the same tank with Ichi. At first I thought it wasn’t a good idea but till now it’s getting ok. Both of them can get along quite well.

Because the size of the tank is not big, but still Mako can swim also play hide and seek. But it’s hard to feed the turtle equally. Since Ichi is really fast spotting the pellets. Even if I put the pellets far from Ichi, it’s like it could smell and swim towards the pellets in a split second. I think Mako is really pissed off with Ichi.

During the first day, Mako seems didn’t like to eat the pellets. I was a bit worried. That was before I put Mako in the same tank with Ichi. But later after I put both of them in the same tank, then I know Mako prefers to eat cabbage rather than the pellets. Oh what the heck, at least Mako eat something. 2 day after that, I was relief that Mako starts to eat the pellets too.

The funny thing was that when I throw the pellets into the tank, eventhough the pellets float on top of Mako, Ichi didn’t care and step on Mako. And Mako say, “huh! Wat’s wrong wif u nigga! Keep ur smelly foot off me!”. Because the size of Mako is small, it can swim freely in the tank but Ichi only can crawl in it. I love to see when Mako crawl and stay on top of Ichi. Both of them now officially can eat cabbage and water spinach(kangkung).
