My Windows XP user profile somehow missing when I try to logged in this morning. Windows was kind enough to create a new profile or should I say temporary Profile. But thanks to Windows XP System Restore, everything seems ok now (I think).

I get this same problem repeatedly on one of my users laptops. I have found also that performing a system restore gets XP to use the original profile again. Have you had any recurrance of this problem or did you find good reason for it? The user that gets this problem is a salesman who is out of the office most of the time. The problem only happens when he connects to the domain in the office.
