Beauty of the month of Ramadhan

It’s better late than never. I would like to wish you all my muslim readers a Happy Belated Ramadhan.

Did I spelled it right? Ramadan or Ramadhan? Well, I’ve already been thinking of Syawal. I’d just like to extend my warmest wishes to all those who are about to finish their fifth day of fasting for the year 1426 AH. I bet some of you didn’t make it to the second day.

The excitement of the fasting month is during buka puasa or breaking fast. Don’t get me wrong but it’s all about the food. Variation of foods and drinks especially if you are buying it from Pasar Ramadhan. My only Pasar Ramadhan place of choice is at SS6 near the old Giant Hypermarket or Pekan Kapar.

I’ve made a list of “the must eat food for breaking fast for the year 1426 AH” and I hope to fulfill it before the end of this Ramadhan. Take note that the listed food on the list must only be purchase at Pasar Ramadhan.

  1. Ayam percik.
  2. Sardine or potato currypuff.
  3. The so called “Penang” Char Koay Teow.
  4. Murtabak ayam.
  5. Popiah basah or kering.
  6. Ikan pari bakar.
  7. Laksa Penang.
  8. Nasi tomato with ayam masak merah.
  9. Kebab.
  10. Nasi dagang.
  11. Nasi ayam bakar.
  12. Mee Jawa.
  13. Yong Tau Fu.
  14. Donut.
  15. Keropok lekor.
  16. Nasi kerabu.

Probably that’s it. I’ll keep this list updated from time to time till the end of Ramadhan.
