Malaysia should start to compete with the world, not try to satisfy ourselves with "being better than the poorer countries" but rather should try to beat richer nations.. look at singapore and what they become now.... it's a really nice and happening place.. KL .. when will it be like singapore? having tourist attractions is not nice enough, quality not quantity... We should try to avoid letting "culture" and "tradition" from preventing us to imitate the west... Its either you globalise or remain being a third world nation you guys know what.. We all are mature enough to see what makes him felt unconfortable and boring: rain, crowd, etc. and the suggestion to visit in weekdays is another way to overcome this. Yes, his comments may look tarnishing to some. I was a lil suprised when my search result on 'Eye on Malaysia' returned with 'Boring Experience at EoM' on the first page. but once i noticed it's a blog, i knew it just an opinion. We can think, evaluate, etc. We take criticism as a way to improvise. We'll never move on if we only wanted to hear the nice good stuff and refuse to accept comments. And still if i got the chance to visit EoM, sure i may try it to see how 'boring' it may be. I may try to avoid weekend. see, his blog helps me to avoid boringness... :) Bravo the the writer!
